History of Carolina Cardiology Consultants, P. A. In July of 1998, with over 50 years combined experience, Drs. Lominack, Parker, Smith, Baucum, Gaucher, Chandler and Champ pooled their cardiovascular expertise to form Carolina Cardiology Consultants P.A. They launched the beginning of Greenville's largest private cardiology practice. They have worked hard to recruit qualified, experienced and knowledgeable cardiologists from various parts of the country. The practice has grown to offer the specialized services of 23 cardiologists who are board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine. Within this number, seven specialize in pacemaker placement and eight in interventional cardiology. Still others in the practice have special expertise in Echocardiography and Stress Testing.
